We are looking for an experienced Figma designer to update our current design, focusing on seamless integration with our design system components and mapping Figma components to React.js components for efficient, reusable code generation. Experience with tools like Builder.io or similar platforms is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Utilize Design System Components: Update and enhance our existing Figma design using components from our design system to ensure consistency and scalability.
React.js Integration: Map Figma components to React.js components using tools like Figma's Code Connect or Builder.io, ensuring seamless integration with our development workflow.
Component Mapping: Establish accurate links between Figma components and React.js code counterparts, facilitating consistent and reusable code generation.
Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with our development team to ensure smooth handoff and implementation of the design in a React.js environment.
Optimize for Reusability: Design with a modular and reusable approach, maximizing efficiency and maintainability.
Requirements:
Proven experience in Figma with a strong portfolio showcasing design system integration and component-based design.
Proficiency in mapping Figma components to React.js components, ensuring reusable and maintainable code.
Experience with Builder.io or similar platforms to bridge design and React.js development.
Strong understanding of modern front-end development workflows, particularly in React.js.
Familiarity with tools like Figma's Code Connect, Storybook, and Git for design-to-code workflows.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Nice to Have:
Experience with other headless CMS platforms or visual development tools.
Familiarity with frameworks like Next.js for React applications.
Knowledge of TypeScript and Styled Components or Tailwind CSS for React.js styling.
