Excel Mortgage Refi Calculator to Web App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need an experienced developer who can migrate my Excel based mortgage refinance calculator, which contains multiple sheets, into a fully functional web application built with Custom HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
This is an application already in development that we are seeking to offload the continued development of for this phase of our project.
It is an Express app with the UI largely complete. What we need is a skilled JavaScript dev that can come in and translate the existing formulas and cell references in the Excel workbook over to the JavaScript necessary to emulate the same features and functionality. Each sheet in the Excel file that is relevant to the project has it's own tabbed view in the apps UI.
Core Functionality:
- The web application should be capable of emulating the existing calculations and field references in the Excel workbook.
- It should be able to generate summary reports - really already setup.
- The application must allow for comparison of different refinance options.
- The web app should simply recreate the exact same experience as the Excel tool.
User Access:
- The web application is intended for open access, meaning no user authentication or login is necessary.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficient in Custom HTML/CSS/JavaScript AND Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in developing web applications with complex calculations.
- Ability to create user-friendly interfaces for generating reports and comparing options.

Requirements:
Migrate all features and functionality of fields in the workbook tabs that have been recreated in the web app. Translate all cell references within and across sheets as well as formulas to calculations.
-Map input and calculation cells in the 5 worksheets with matches in the stage app
-Test and prove functionality
NOTE: there may be some cells with formulas in the existing worksheet that are questionable or unclear - that is to be expected and we can discuss clarification where necessary.
