Development of a Hybrid BI Platform (MVP) for SMEs (WORLDWIDE)

We are building the MVP of Noelia, a hybrid Business Intelligence (BI) and data analytics platform designed specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Latin America. The goal is to provide accessible, easy-to-use tools that transform simple business data into actionable insights and recommendations — even for companies with low digital maturity.

For this MVP, we want to develop:

A web application (responsive, simple interface).
Automated dashboards & visualizations generated from that input (basic charts, KPIs, financial ratios, etc.).

Actionable recommendations displayed in simple language (e.g., "Consider renegotiating with suppliers" or "Increase investment in marketing channel X").

Basic user authentication system (login, register).

Export of reports in PDF/Excel.

Tech Stack (preferred but flexible):

Frontend: React.js / Next.js (or other modern JS frameworks)

Backend: Node.js, Django, or Flask

Database: MySQL / PostgreSQL

Visualization: Chart.js, D3.js, or similar libraries

Hosting: AWS / Google Cloud / Azure (open to suggestions)

Candidate Requirements:

Experience as a Full-stack Developer (React + Node or Django).

Knowledge of data visualization libraries.

Ability to build clean, intuitive UIs (extra points if you can also do basic UX).

Familiarity with BI, dashboards, or data analysis tools is a plus.

Strong communication and availability for agile collaboration.


Deliverables (MVP):

Working prototype of the platform (web app).

Functional questionnaire that feeds into dashboards.

At least 3 pre-defined dashboards (e.g., financials, sales, inventory).

PDF/Excel report export.

Documentation for deployment.

Timeline:

12 weeks (3 months) for MVP delivery.


Budget:

Open to negotiation, but targeting $4,000–6,000 USD for the MVP phase.
