UI Developer for Button Style Fix
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
Hi there, I am in need of an expert UI developer to remedy a button style issue on my website. Here's a brief recap of the problems:
- When a user presses and keeps the blue button pressed, it changes to pink. That's correct. But the problem arises when the user subsequently moves the cursor out of the button's area. Ideally, the button should reset to the default blue style. Unfortunately, it sticks with the pink one.
- The error is reproducible in the Chrome browser, although I haven't tested it across others yet.
Here's what I am expecting from a successful candidate:
- Rectify the button-styling bug. Upon cursor movement out of the button's area after pressing and holding down, the button style should toggle back to the default blue.
- Complete standard user-testing post-fix to ensure that the issue has been decisively resolved and doesn't crop up down the line.
Required Skillset:
- Proficiency in UI/UX development
- Familiarity with Chrome and other browser-specific quirks, as the problem seems to be at least present in Chrome
- Demonstrate previous experience in successful bug fixes
- Experience in user-testing
