Develop code to send polyline from leaflet map to API and redraw returned line.

I need some javascript developed which uses an api to modify poly lines, see attached document for details.
Basic operation:
- User draws polyline on map
- After save polyline is sent to API on server (API already exists)
- A new polyline is returned by API and must be drawn on map
