DevOps Engineer Needed to Audit and Rebuild DigitalOcean Infrastructure for Production & Development Environments (Location - India Only)

We’re hiring a DevOps Engineer to audit, redesign, and deploy secure, scalable infrastructure on DigitalOcean for a Django-based web platform. This is a remote (India-only) role, strictly within a controlled environment (no local development or external hosting allowed).

Target Infrastructure (4 Droplets)

* Production – Live application environment
* Development – Staging/QA environment
* Bastion Host – Secure access point for SSH/jump server
* Active Directory (AD) – Centralized authentication for devs/ops

Key Responsibilities

* Audit current DigitalOcean setup and deployment process
* Provision new droplets with VPC, SSL, UFW, and secure SSH
* Configure stack:
* Python, Django, Gunicorn, PostgreSQL (SQLite migration)
* Node.js, Tailwind CSS build tools, Nginx, Supervisor/systemd
* Deploy from GitHub private repo and ZIP sources
* Integrate AD authentication and implement RBAC
* Set up CI/CD with GitHub Actions
* Provide full documentation: setup, deploy, rollback, access control

Requirements

Must-Have:
* Proven experience with DigitalOcean, Linux (Ubuntu), and Django deployments
* GitHub workflows (commits, secrets, deploy keys, actions)
* SQLite → PostgreSQL migration
* Strong skills in security, scripting, and documentation


Nice-to-Have:

* CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Active Directory setup, IaC (Terraform/Ansible)
