Dashboard Design for Pressure Assessment Visualisation
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
This project involves designing a dashboard to explain pressure undergraduate face in their programmes caused by assessments. This is based on work that I have previously presented at a conference. You will use the data provided in the two JSON files as the source for the dashboard. I have also included part of the research report from the work that this project is based on (the attached PDF). This includes mathematical definitions of the pressure metric you are to use.
Therefore you have the following project work to do (you do not have to start on this right away):
1) Understand the base material and metrics.
2) Understand the data set provided to you and how the two files relate to each other.
3) Transform the supplied data into a form that can be worked with for the pressure metric.
4) Calculate the pressure metric for each week of the academic year for both programmes assuming the Consistent working model.
5) Design a suitable dashboard to communicate the assessment and pressure information to undergraduates.
6) Implement that dashboard using HTML, Javascript and D3.js or using Processing.
If you complete these tasks with time to spare you should then attempt to include the other working models too (keen, stuck-start, stuck-middle, and late).
