Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced HubSpot developer to build a lightweight hotel accommodation inventory and booking platform. The solution will live primarily within HubSpot and integrate with Stripe for payments.
The goal is to manage hotel room availability, track bookings in real time, and associate bookings with HubSpot deals and custom objects.
Customer Booking Experience
The platform should support the following customer journey:
Customer opens a conference information page
Page displays a list of available hotels
Customer clicks to view available room types and rates
Customer selects rooms
Customer enters guest details (names, number of nights, etc.)
Customer completes payment via Stripe
Customer receives an automated confirmation email
HubSpot Requirements
The solution must be tightly integrated with HubSpot and include:
Custom Objects & Data Model
We expect multiple custom objects, potentially including:
Bookings object
Create, search, and cancel bookings
Track booking status and availability
Room Types object
Room type name
Rates
Number of rooms available
Hotels object
Hotel name, address, and other details
May leverage HubSpot Companies if appropriate
Object Relationships
Hotels associated with Room Types
Room Types associated with Bookings
Bookings associated with Deals
Full visibility of bookings within the deal pipeline
Required Fields & Functionality
Text fields for room type names
Support for multiple room types per hotel
Number fields for:
Number of rooms per room type
Rates per room type
Text fields for:
Terms & conditions
Cancellation policy
External HubDB setup for data display and performance
Stripe payment page setup and integration
Automated confirmation emails via HubSpot
Technical Expectations
Strong experience with HubSpot CMS, custom objects, and APIs
Experience integrating Stripe (Checkout or Payment Intents)
Ability to build custom UI (JavaScript / React preferred)
Clean, scalable data architecture
Clear documentation and handover

Previous experience building booking, inventory, or reservation systems
Understanding of PCI compliance and secure payment flows
