I need an advanced WordPress specialist who can build a bespoke theme entirely from scratch. Custom WordPress development is the main focus, so I’m not looking for light edits or marketplace templates—I need someone who writes clean, standards-compliant PHP, understands Gutenberg / block-based architecture, and can weave in modern front-end practices (SCSS, ES6, Webpack or Vite) without breaking a sweat.
The brief: create a fast, fully responsive, accessibility-minded theme that reflects the exact structure and visual language I will supply. Once the core theme is in place, I would also like help refining performance, hardening security, and possibly extending functionality through custom plugins or API integrations, but delivering the theme is the first milestone.
