Custom 3D development in TypeScript using the Babylon.js game engine based in-browser application
Description:
Improve and extend a current proof-of-concept application based on the 3D WebGL framework Babylon with REACT user-interface, building from source
and compiling to in-browser 3D display and interaction showing glTF (glb) model files dropped into a web session.
Document build steps. Refresh and adapt to use latest Babylon and dependency versions.
Expose parameters to enable various scene optimization features.
A suite of GLB test files will be provided for performance improvement testing.
Skills & Experience in:
JavaScript, TypeScript, Three.js, WebGL, Babylon.js, 3D Graphics, 3D Games, GPU shaders, Level-of-Detail,
CAD, CAE, CAM, PDM, BIM, PLM, C#, C++, Webpack, Electron, React, Node
Deliverable:
a) Checkin updates to private Git repo
b) Build to an Html folder with Webpack
c) Assist installed and on test server (Apache, Linux).
