Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need someone who can write javascript components that replicates many components found in grasshopper 3D.
Grasshopper is parametric modeling tool thats a plugin of Rhino3D. It uses components that a user can visually script with, without needing to write code. https://www.grasshopper3d.com/

You might need to download rhino an grasshopper plugin to test out how visual scripting works.
Nodes.io is another visual scripting tool that uses "nodes" to build up interactive web experiences. Each node contains code that executes a larger script. Nodes.io does not have components like Grasshopper. They need to be customized. These components in each of the categories need to become javascript code, with inputs and outputs that work in Nodes.io: https://nodes.io/docs/api-reference/
This would require knowledge in javascript as well maybe some understanding of computational geometry / mathematics / 3D modeling.
The budget is to start off with a subset of components. Such as for "CURVE". Under curve for example, one component might be to evaluate the length of a curve: https://grasshopperdocs.com/components/grasshoppercurve/evaluateLength.html
I eventually want to extend to many of the grasshopper components and so this is a job that if goes well, will results in a LOT more work.
Currently the budget is for simple components (30 components). We will work together to sort through which components are to be replicated in javascript and nodes.io. There are hundreds of components for future work as well as more complex work for higher compensation.
