Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Shopify developer to create a custom order form that allows customers to purchase bulk quantities of our products. The form will feature multiple variants, specifically 8 different products, each with the option to enter different quantities. Pricing and discounts will dynamically adjust based on the quantities entered.
Project Requirements:
Custom Order Form Development:
Use Liquid to build a custom form on the order page.
Ensure the form includes input fields for each product variant to allow customers to enter desired quantities.
Dynamic Pricing and Discounts:
Implement JavaScript to handle real-time calculations of the total cart price.
Apply dynamic discounts based on the entered quantities.
Variant and Quantity Management:
Use Liquid to loop through product variants and display appropriate input fields.
Use JavaScript to update the cart total based on the quantities entered by the customer.
Integration with Shopify Cart:
Ensure the selected items and quantities are correctly added to the Shopify cart.
Implement logic to handle various discount rules based on bulk purchase thresholds.
Responsibilities:
Develop a custom Liquid template for the bulk order form.
Implement JavaScript to handle dynamic interactions and price calculations.
Ensure the form dynamically updates the cart total and applies appropriate discounts.
Integrate with Shopify's cart functionality to add the selected items and quantities.
Test and debug the form to ensure cross-browser and device compatibility.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with Shopify development, including Liquid, JavaScript, and Shopify Scripts.
Strong understanding of Shopify's API and cart functionality.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
