Area Covered by Job
Bring the GUI into Working Order
The current GUI has critical issues with its current features. In particular it crashes after starting up for the second time after installing. This and other features need to be fixed and brought into working order.
Design Robustness
The GUI designs need to respond properly to all of the values that it is expected to experience. The design needs to be made robust against large numbers.
Audit of Current Code
For the purposes of this job, the only code that is necessary to audit is in the red circle. The Electron-based GUI code. In particular, we want to ensure that this code operates according to standard best practices and is secure and optimizable. The code also needs to be tested to ensure that it matches what it is supposed to, and some features need to be fully implemented.
Transaction Flow Redesign
A second, final confirmation screen needs to be added to the transaction flow the spells out exactly what amounts the transaction is going to cost, including the full fees
Caching and Integration Improvement
In addition, as part of optimizations, we are looking to implement a caching system to the GUI that will cache recent Keychain results instead of having to call the Keychain every time the user changes to a new tab. This should improve performance significantly. This is necessary for smooth operation
