I am looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong background in building web applications to build a personal finance web application. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing this personal finance platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
Responsibilities:
Full Stack Development:
Lead the end-to-end development of our personal finance web application. Also, understand requirements for new features and enhancements.
Feature Development:
Design and implement features related to budgeting, investing, retirement planning, tax planning, debt management, home buying, credit cards, etc.
Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the application.
Integration:
Integrate third-party APIs and tools to enhance the functionality of the personal finance platform.
Collaborate with external systems and services to provide a holistic financial experience.
Quality Assurance:
Implement rigorous testing procedures to maintain the reliability and quality of the application.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure a smooth user experience.
Documentation:
Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure knowledge transfer and documentation consistency.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
Proficient in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.).
Strong back-end development skills with experience in Node.js, Python, or similar.
Familiarity with database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).
Experience in RESTful API design and integration.
Full Stack Experience:
Proven experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, ideally with a focus on web applications.
Portfolio showcasing personal finance or fintech projects is a plus.
Financial Knowledge:
Understanding of personal finance concepts and a keen interest in financial literacy.
Communication Skills:
Strong communication skills
