Create a Chrome Extension for Browser Automation
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
Write a Chrome Extension that can communicate with an external process on the same machine (Assume Windows) via websockets (ideal), or Ajax (less ideal).
The extension must be able to recieve commands to execute javascript supplied by an external process, and be able to return the result of those commands to the external process.
The extension should be able to send browser event data back to the external process, at a minimum, page load events, but ideally all browser events.
I am not looking for a solution involving Selenium, Pupeteer, Playwright etc., This needs to be a chrome extension built from scratch.
The external process is unimportant in design, just enough to demonstate the extension is functional. Demonstration code, and installation instructions must be provided on project completion.
Milestone payments will be split 50%/50%
The First milestone will be released when you can demonstrate the plugin executing a command "location.href="https://www.freelancer.com";", and returing the text from "$("title").innerHTML"
The Second milestone payment will be released when you can demonstrate the plugin indicating when a page is fully loaded, and clicking on a button on the page.
Rules are as always;
- Never ask for more money than your bid amount, the answer will always be no. Don't ask.
- Never ask for milestones to be released before the task is complete, you must do the job first.
