Comprehensive Portal Enhancement & Fixes

Our web portal has grown quickly and now needs a full round of attention on three fronts: design improvements, new functionalities, and performance optimisation.
Design improvements
• Refresh outdated layouts and align colours, typography, and spacing with our current brand guidelines.
• Tidy up any UI/UX issues flagged by users so every page feels consistent and intuitive.
New functionalities
“Bug fixes and advancements” is my headline request here. Some existing features are half-built; others just need small extensions. I will share a short list of priority flows, but expect tasks such as tightening user journeys, adding small dashboard widgets, or enhancing admin controls rather than bolting on large modules.
Performance optimisation
Page-load times have slipped. I would like assets compressed, queries tuned, and any obvious bottlenecks removed until we reach a consistently fast experience across desktop and mobile.
Current bugs to resolve
• Visible UI/UX glitches (misaligned elements, inconsistent buttons).
• Broken links / 404 errors scattered in legacy content.
• Core actions that sometimes refuse to fire or return the wrong state.
Acceptance criteria
1. No 404s appear in an automated crawl of 500+ pages.
2. Lighthouse performance score ≥ 90 on all key templates.
3. All listed UI bugs closed and signed off after review in the staging environment.
Code base is a typical modern stack (HTML5, CSS3/Sass, JavaScript ES6, PHP backend with MySQL). Please be comfortable working in Git and deploying to a Linux VPS. A staging branch is ready for your pull requests, and I will test each milestone within 24 hours of delivery.
