CSS / javascript developer

Job ID: 33487893

Budget: $50 – $100 USD

I have a site written in Blazor application (.net). The site is for the deaf and mute population to communicate with each other. Visit SignRadar.com to see it.

I'm trying to update the site to newer technology. I wrote a good portion in web assembly in dot net but web assembly is a little too slow so I'm trying to migrate away from it.

Anyway, all the backend APIs are already written (written in .net core / REST APIs). I need CSS/javascript dev to re-write the site using plain html/css/javascript. I already have the UI and specific design. I know jquery but I also i'm okay with React or angular/SPA for responsive web and PWA.

The frontend work also requires some interaction with Google Maps javascript APIs for geolocation and placing markers on the map. All the features on the site are standard and straight forward. All pages must responsive and look good on small screens.

Again, this site is for deaf and mute population. It's not big budget but it has good karma.

First milestone ($50) - Site has account management such as registeration and for username and password (and supporting services such as forgot password), profile page with inbox where users can change password or change avatar, uploading avatar, etc.

Second milestone ($100) - Posting messages, chat and google maps integration. User can post messages and other users can reply to the post by text or uploading pictures or video (again, backend API is already done). Users can also give thumbs up or down. The geolocation of the users are shown on the google maps via an icon. When someone clicks on the icon on the map, the message for that user is filtered out.

Third milestone ($TBD) - WebRTC (video chat) for creating general group chat rooms and one-to-one chats.

The expected result is a working and bug free www folder in my github account with all the files uncompressed and readable. We can then a do screenshare and install the new bits on the staging environment and test it.
