CSS and JavaScript Optimization Expert Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
PLEASE READ THE PROJECT DETAILS CAREFULLY.
YOUR BID IS YOUR FINAL BID.
I need a CSS/Javascript/SEO expert to correct errors on a web page that are returning a FAIL in core web vitals, when using PageSpeed Insights at pagespeed.web.dev.
I am getting the following:
- Reduce JavaScript execution time 1.6 s
- Minimize main-thread work 4.6 s
- Reduce the impact of third-party code Third-party code blocked the main thread for 650 ms
- Eliminate render-blocking resources Potential savings of 700 ms
- Enable text compression Potential savings of 180 KiB
- Serve static assets with an efficient cache policy 8 resources found
- Ensure text remains visible during webfont load
- Reduce unused CSS Potential savings of 116 KiB
- Reduce unused JavaScript Potential savings of 293 KiB
- Avoid long main-thread tasks 20 long tasks found
- Avoid large layout shifts 1 layout shift found
- Initial server response time was short Root document took 20 ms
- Avoids enormous network payloads Total size was 884 KiB
- Avoids an excessive DOM size 361 elements
- Avoid chaining critical requests 3 chains found
- Largest Contentful Paint element 1,580 ms
The pages are made with simple html and bootstrap CSS (bootstrap.min.css, jquery-3.5.1.slim.min.js).
I know that the CSS file I am using is bloated and that some things need to be removed or maybe fixed.
I think that there may also be other things that need to be removed and or fixed in the javascript file.
I need someone to tell me what to remove and what to correct to make the PAGE LOAD FASTER.
So you will be analyzing the CSS code, which is standard bootstrap, and also the .js files which are also standard, but seem to be bloated with stuff that is not used.
All of the unused stuff must be identified and removed so as to ensure that the page loads fast and then passes the web core vitals test.
Although the sites has many pages, they all use the same CSS and js files, so you will only be analysing 1 page.
I will only disclose the URL once the project is awarded.
You must have experience with Google Web Core Vitals.
When you can make the page PASS the Google Web Core Vitals assessment, you get paid.
Your bid on this project will be your final bid. You may not ask for more money after you bid, so please bid carefully and make sure you can do this project.
