Functional Requirements for a Google Sheet Add-on to send customized WhatsApp messages using WhatsApp Business API are:
User Authentication: The add-on must have a login screen to authenticate users using API KEY credentials.
Input Fields: The add-on must allow the user to enter the phone number and message to be sent. The user should also be able to customize the message by adding dynamic variables from the Google Sheet, such as name, address, etc.
Template Creation (Add, edit): The add-on should provide an option to create a message template that includes dynamic variables. Users should be able to create and manage multiple templates.
Existing Template sync from the application.
Mapping Variables: The add-on should allow users to map Google Sheet column names to the dynamic variables in the message template. The user should be able to select the column names and match them with the appropriate dynamic variable in the template.
Sending Options: The add-on should provide options for sending the message. The user should be able to select the message template and choose to send the message to an individual or a group.
Batch Messaging: The add-on should provide an option to send messages in batches. Users should be able to select a range of rows in the Google Sheet and send messages to multiple recipients at once.
