Build me a simple Chrome extension that reads the selected text when a keyboard shortcut is pressed, and returns data from an API
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am looking for a simple Chrome extension with a few simple functions:
1. Generate: When the user highlights some text they type out in a textarea and taps ALT+C, send the selected text to an API, and return the text retrieved by the API in the textarea below their input
2. Reply: When the user highlights some text, such as an email, and taps ALT+R, send that selected text to an API, and show a popup on the screen that has the APIs response, and 3 buttons. Tapping any of the 3 buttons will resend the original text to the API with a slight modification, and update the text in the popup.
3. Quick Reply: When the user highlights some text, such as an email, and taps ALT+Q, send that selected text to an API, and once a response is retrieved, show a small notification or popout that says "Reply copied to your clipboard", and copy the APIs response to the user's clipboard.
4. When the user right-clicks on any text, offer a context menu item that has the 3 above options "Generate, Reply, Quick Reply"
If executing APIs will not work in pure JavaScript, the API calls should be written in PHP.
