Build a set of javascript drop-down selection filters for a Wordpress post array

Job ID: 36987916

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

I am looking for a skilled developer to build a set of JavaScript drop-down selection filters for a WordPress post array. The filters should allow users to filter the posts by a combination of custom taxonomies and categories.

Requirements:
- The filters should be implemented using JavaScript show/hide based on corresponding classes.
- The filters should be able to filter the posts based on the selected custom taxonomy and category options.
- Ideally the results could be further filtered by stacking multiple drop-down selections, this is currently being achieved using an old AJAX solution (see example: https://visioneyeinstitute.com.au/eyematters/), however it's incredibly slow due to having to run the loop every time there's a new selection, whereas loading all the content initially unfiltered is sufficiently fast.
- The project needs to be completed within 1 week.

Skills and Experience:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress and custom taxonomies.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS for integrating the filters into the WordPress website however our web developer will be able to integrate your solution into existing PHP template and CSS.

If you are confident in your JavaScript skills and have experience with WordPress and custom taxonomies, please submit a proposal for this project.
