Build screenshot taking electron application

Hello we have an web application that is taking screenshots and screen recording by injecting snippet into the web page.

We are looking to build a desktop app that will use same (as possible) snippet to take screenshot and screen recording, out side of the browser (desktop)

We though on electronjs app for simplification, but any Javascript based alternative will be considered.
