Build a hook that allows multiple selections and draws regions of interest on geonode client side.

Hi everybody. I am using a Geonode (https://geonode.org/) system for one project. Currently, I need two hooks:
1. First hook, which allows select multiple (with shift/alt button) features on the map (from the specific layer) and based on these selection creates an application (opens new page) using the data from those selected features (basically the name/id of features should be derived and passed to the next step of the system)
2. the second hook is similar except you draw the region of interest instead of selecting multiple features.
