Build an extension for Amazon

The task is to build a Chrome extension that modifies an Amazon page for a book and a panel of prices. When the book page is loaded (which means the page corresponds to a certain URL pattern) the extension pastes a topbar at the top of the page. The topbar displays our statistics for a book, like average rank, average price. The statistics will be obtained from our API. API endpoint will be provided.

When a user clicks on prices, an Amazon panel appears. It contains several price offers for a book. Price offers contain names of sellers, their statistics etc. When a cursor hovers upon seller's name, a small pop-up window should appear. The window will contain our statistics obtained from our API. API endpoint will be provided.

Skills needed:

1. Chrome extensions.
2. Javascript, axios library.
3. HTML/CSS, Bootstrap is a plus.
4. Javascript build tools.
