Breathwork Web App -- 2
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
Breathwork App – Development Proposal
Project Overview
We are developing a wellness web application that allows facilitators to track clients’ breathwork progress, record session data, and provide complementary growth tools (e.g., affirmations, audio training).
The application will be built with:
Frontend: Next.js (React + TypeScript), TailwindCSS, Zustand (state)
Backend: Node.js (Express), Supabase (DB + Auth + Storage)
Additional Tools: Audio libraries (Tone.js / Howler.js), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Vercel/Render deployment
Core Modules
1. Dashboard – Overview of stats and access to modules
2. Breathwork Sessions – Custom cycles, sensory logging (kinetic, audible, visual), session notes
3. Doctor’s Notes – Professional observations, clinical logs
4. Respiratory Retraining – Daily breath exercises, weekly tracking
5. Audio Studio – Simplistic DJ-style UI to layer/export audio loops
6. Affirmations Software – Guided affirmation builder, tied to sessions
Current Priority – Milestone 1
The first milestone is the Breathwork Sessions module, including:
Session creation (date, facilitator, client, breathing rounds with duration & retention)
Sensory logging (0–many per type: kinetic, audible, visual with name, intensity, description)
Session notes (review, personal notes, next plan, content/books shared)
Session history (list of sessions per client, view details)
Basic auth & facilitator access (via Supabase Auth)
Deliverables
Database schema (Supabase) with RLS policies
Backend API endpoints (`/sessions`, `/sessions/:id`, `/clients/:id/sessions`)
Frontend components:
Session creation form
Sensory input components (multi-select, intensity slider, description)
Session notes inputs with autosave
Session list & detail view
Integration tests for API
End-to-end flow working (create → log → view session)
Technical Expectations
Code in TypeScript (frontend + backend)
Use React Query or SWR for data fetching
State management with Zustand
CI/CD setup with GitHub Actions
Deployment on Vercel (frontend) and Render (backend)
Version control workflow via feature branches + pull requests
Future Milestones
Doctor’s Notes
Respiratory Retraining
Audio Studio (DJ-style interface)
Affirmations Software
