Blockchain based Rental Property System using smart Contracts

• Users visiting the website can simply browse and can see the properties available for rent.
o They are required to sign up only if they want to take a property for rent.
• In this system, the Admin(PROPERTY INSPECTOR) can log in using their username and password.
o They can view the list of the landlords and tenants, and manage all their details by approving, blocking or deleting them from the system.
o The admin verifies the authenticity of Property Owner and tenant (checks ID card, aadhar card uploaded by them)& their properties
o All the feedback and ratings given by them can be viewed by the admin.
• The Property Owner can register their account to log in to the system and upload property details along with location on map for rent and get a suitable tenant for it.
o The ownership of the house is represented as NFT which can be transferred to tenant once he makes the payment.
o They can manage the property details of tenants by adding, updating and deleting them from the system.
o Also, they can manage the contract and create, confirm, and terminate the renting property contract.
o They can view the contract details such as rent, date and time, location of the property, and tenant. They can view details of the tenants who have applied for renting.
o The Property Owner can give the ratings with feedback about the tenant and view the rent transaction history.
o The tenant must pay the rent every month, if not the contract is terminated by the Property Owner.
o When the contract period ends the NFT ownership is transferred back to the Property Owner.
• The tenant can view the list of available property details and rent amounts.
o They can also send a notification to the Property Owner to rent the specific property and filter properties by amount range and location.
o The tenant will receive the confirmation of renting property details and deposit details and they can proceed to make payments for rent.
