Better Messages (for Wordpress) Websocket Version - Video Chat Redesign

I run the Better Messages plugin on my WordPress site, and I’d like its text-chat threads and built-in video rooms to feel far more polished and brand aligned. On the messaging side I need new colour and font schemes, tighter spacing, and a fresh set of custom icons and image placeholders. The video-chat screen also needs a facelift—updated layout, branded backgrounds, and redesigned buttons with matching iconography.

Everything must render perfectly in the browser and inside the companion mobile app I ship on both iOS and Android, so responsive tweaks and thorough testing on those platforms are part of the brief.

Deliverables
• Revised CSS/JS (or template overrides) for Better Messages covering chat threads and video rooms
• Graphic assets for icons, buttons, and optional backgrounds (SVG/PNG)
• Clear install notes so the customisations persist through plugin updates
• Final round of cross-device testing confirmation (desktop, iOS, Android)
