Angular 18 Drag-and-Drop Tree Upgrade/Change
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m in need of a seasoned Angular 18 developer who can enhance our current drag-and-drop tree system. This upgrade should cater to specific hierarchical rules akin to Jira's structure. The primary focus of the improvement should be on the functionality and features of the system.
Key Requirements:
- Modify the existing drag-and-drop tree to accommodate strict hierarchical constraints:
* Epics can only serve as high-level nodes.
* Subtasks can only be placed under non-Epic, non-Subtask issue types.
* Subtasks cannot be nested within other subtasks.
* Risk issues must be linked to an Epic but cannot be high-level nodes.
* Other issue types can be either high-level nodes or under Epics.
- Implement a system that allows dragging from source (left) to target (right).
- Ensure the new solution integrates seamlessly with our current Angular 18 standalone setup and respects our existing data model, which will require minor adjustments.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in Angular 18 development, particularly with standalone setups.
- Prior work with drag-and-drop tree systems, ideally with hierarchical constraints similar to Jira.
- Ability to understand and modify existing data models.
- Strong problem-solving skills to enhance system functionality and features.
