Add new features to the existing mobile app (React Native, Redux/Sagas)
Budget: $30 – $70 USD
We need to add new features to the existing mobile app built on React Native and Redux/Sagas and expo.io.
The app is used by a famous European hotel brand to give guests access to IBE (Internet Booking Engine) and hotels/rooms overview. So, in the app, hotel guests can log in, see membership details and review their bookings. For booking flow, it exploits the view from the website.
Features to develop:
1. Add native Bluetooth SDKs and setup new CI/CD flow (bare expo.io flow)
Hotel guests are able to open room door locks using Bluetooth Low Energy. Each door lock vendor provides native SDK that has to be included in the build.
2. Door locks functionality:
Implement required screens (in Figma) and API connections in collaboration with the backend team. The app should receive key payload via push notifications and allow guests to use native Bluetooth SDKs to open hotel rooms.
3. Online Check-in and Check-out:
Guests should be able to use the app for online Check-in: process of filling out personal information and payment for previously booked rooms. Currently, customers need to go to a reception in a hotel to do that. The same is true for Check-out.
There are two tasks:
a. Develop middleware (backend) that will handle Check-in, Check-out, and payments processing. In the future, this will be used in other services, not limited to the app.
b. Integrate the developed middleware with the app.
We have UI/UX of all app screens in Figma.
We estimate the amount of work to be within 100 hours for an experienced developer.
