Word to XML and XML to PDF Converter in Java
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a freelancer who can develop a microservice which will have two APIs one will receive an Microsoft Office Word File (.doc, .docx) file and read the content of the word file and store them into an XML String and return that, while the other API will receive an XML String and will return a PDF file out of the XML String.
To read the word file I would like to use APACHE POI, remember that a word file is not the same as a .csv file or a .txt file it is totally different from them. In doing all the task the integrity of the file should be protected i.e all of the formatting, color schemas, images, tables, figure, text area, etc in the word file should be maintained.
For generating PDF I would recommend using iTextPDF apis in java, but you can use java apis of your own preference if you think they are better then iTextPDF. Again the integrity of the document should be maintained.
