WorldLink, a nonprofit organization, has published a new edition of the Dymaxion World Map (www.story.earth). We are in the early stages of developing a Web AR application that will enable users to 1) view additional map layers and 2) “zoom in” to selected regional features on the map.
We are looking for a freelance coder with Web AR experience to lead the programming of the application. WorldLink is leading UX and UI design and will provide all of the media assets.
The scope of work for this role includes:
• Assist to specify the tasks and timeline required to complete the proposed Web AR app
• Review UI sketches and discuss the best approaches to achieve proposed functionality
• Advise on a preferred video container and video codec
• Write and adapt code for application
• Integrate media assets into the application
• Test and debug the application as needed
The finished program is intended to serve K-12 schools, homes, and science centers.
