Web-based one-one chat application in Java
Budget: $750 – $1,500 CAD
I am looking for a developer to create a web-based application for one-to-one chat using Java with a very simple front end interface. The web-based app has to be mobile-friendly for browsers. The project will require one-on-one messaging functionality (with ability to invite others to the chat) and should include file sharing capabilities. The application must be developed in Java. We will also incorporate ChatGPT API. Additionally, I would like the chat app to support file sharing. Ideal skills and experience for this project include proficiency in Java, experience in UI/front end, experience in developing web apps, and expertise in chat app functionality. Very aggressive timelines (days). This is a simple request:
1. Simple interface
2. Simple one-one chat functionality with ability to invite other users to the chat room
3. File sharing capabilities
4. Flexibility to host on any provider (GCP, Vultr, etc)
5. Retention of chat transcripts
6. Incorporating ChatGPT APIs
7. Generic URL to provide to users but each user that joins will have a unique chat room (we do not want dynamic URLs for each chat room, it has to be standard. Unique chat rooms for each new visitor/user occurs on the back end not at the URL level)
