Urgently Need Code for USB Storage Access on Android -- 2

We're developing a card reader application and need to access the contents of a Card Reader connected to an android device through OTG.

We have tried using the Media_Mounted intent on android and that isn't fired on many smartphones with OS from brands like MI, OnePlus, Samsung, and has only worked on a Moto G Fast and a Samsung Galaxy 9 phone as of now. The operating systems most likely don't use this intent. So a solution is needed that either makes this intent work on all phones or uses some other way to detect a connected USB Storage Device and provides a path/File object to access its directory.
