Game Backend & Systems Developer Needed (Unity + Firebase)
We are looking for an experienced developer to help build and maintain the backend and core systems for an ongoing game project. The game concept and business details are confidential and will only be shared with shortlisted candidates.
Required Responsibilities:
• Implement secure user authentication and account management
• Design and develop cloud save functionality
• Build player profile and progression systems
• Create a secure wallet/currency management system
• Implement real-time or near real-time data synchronization across devices
• Design scalable Firebase database architecture
• Develop backend logic using Firebase Cloud Functions or equivalent solutions
• Implement transaction logging and history tracking
• Create secure reward distribution and claim systems
• Ensure data integrity and protection against client-side manipulation
• Optimize database reads/writes and overall backend performance
• Integrate push notifications if required
• Collaborate on future multiplayer-ready architecture
Required Skills:
• Strong Unity and C# experience
• Firebase Authentication
• Firestore Database
• Firebase Cloud Functions
• Firebase Security Rules
• Firebase Storage
• REST APIs
• Git/GitHub version control
• Mobile game development experience
Preferred Skills:
• Node.js
• Multiplayer architecture experience

• Previous experience shipping production applications or games
