For the Static GUI, You're supposed to make all the elements and classes: screens, buttons, birds, pigs, and structures in LibGDX. It's not required to make all of them functioning. Only buttons to move from one screen to another should be functioning. The basic idea is to run the program and then see all of the screens/menus/overlays by clicking buttons like a UI/UX Prototype.
Objective:
Develop a static GUI inspired by Angry Birds using the libGDX framework in Java, implementing core gameplay mechanics and additional features.
Basic Gameplay:
Bird Launching: Use a slingshot to launch birds at structures containing pigs.
Destruction Mechanics:
Birds can break blocks and hit pigs. Blocks can collapse, causing chain reactions.
Winning and Losing:
Win by destroying all pigs; lose if all birds are exhausted.
Features to Implement:
Birds:
Different types with varying speeds and impacts. At least 3 types of birds.
Pigs:
Different sizes requiring different hits to destroy. At least 3 types of pigs.
Materials:
Structures made of wood, glass, steel, etc., with varying durability. At least 3 types of materials.
Levels:
At least 3 different levels with unique structures and pig arrangements. Random level generator for infinite gameplay.
Special Bird Abilities:
Example: Black Bird explodes, Blue Bird splits into three.
Serialization and Game Saves:
Implement save and restore functionality to preserve game state, including collapsed structures, hits dealt, and remaining birds.
