Spring Security Specialist for Kubernetes App

Job Title: Spring Security Expert for Kubernetes-Deployed Spring MVC App
Description:

We’re looking for a Spring Security expert to troubleshoot and resolve a login/authentication issue in a Spring MVC application with Thymeleaf, deployed to a Kubernetes cluster.

Project Overview:

Spring MVC ( Spring Boot)

Thymeleaf frontend

Custom authentication using CustomAuthenticationProvider and AuthenticationSuccessHandler

Working locally, but login fails after deployment to Kubernetes (redirects to /login repeatedly)

Your Task:

Diagnose and resolve the authentication/authorization issue in the deployed Kubernetes environment

Ensure proper Spring Security bean configuration

Verify role-based access control works as intended

Confirm CSRF/session settings function properly in cluster environment

Requirements:

Deep expertise with Spring Security (non-Boot setups)

Experience with session management and CSRF in distributed environments

Familiarity with Thymeleaf, Java EE servlet config, and Spring MVC

Experience debugging apps in Kubernetes clusters

Bonus:

Understanding of Gradle builds and containerized deployments

Experience with OAuth2/JWT in Spring Security
