Spring Boot 2.x to 3.x Upgrade

We are seeking a highly skilled Spring Boot developer to upgrade our hotel booking application from version 2.x to 3.x. This upgrade is vital to leverage the latest features, security improvements, and extended support offered by Spring Boot 3.x.

The ideal candidate will analyze the existing codebase, address compatibility issues, and ensure a seamless upgrade while maintaining all current application functionalities.

About the Application:
The application is a hotel booking platform that handles:

Hotel search and filtering.
Room availability checks and booking.
Coupon application and discounts.
Integration with payment gateways.
The system is built on Spring Boot 2.x, with supporting technologies such as Hibernate, REST APIs, and Java 11/8.



Required Skills and Experience:

Expertise in Spring Boot (2.x and 3.x), with a strong portfolio of successful upgrades.
Proficiency in Java 17 and familiarity with Java language updates.
Experience with Hibernate 6 and Jakarta EE 9+.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and Spring Security updates.
Strong understanding of database integration (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and performance optimization.
Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
