Looking for a Software Consultant for Technical Audit (Java Application)
We’re looking for an experienced software consultant to conduct a technical audit of a Java-based web application, in preparation for a potential sale.
?️ About the Software:
A meeting room booking system
Live and used for 6 years, maintained by a small dev team (2 people)
Backend in Java, with a relational database
Active development resumed about a year ago
? Audit Goals:
Assess overall code quality, structure, and maintainability
Identify potential technical risks, security issues, or scalability concerns
Deliver a clear technical report to support due diligence in a sale process
? Details:
Remote project (ideally someone based in Portugal or fluent in Portuguese)
Occasional e-meetings via Google Meet
Flexible timeline (we’re open to your availability)
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Solid experience in software audits, code reviews, or technical due diligence
Strong background in Java, clean code principles, and secure development practices
Ability to deliver a structured report with findings and recommendations
