Software Development Manager (CoreJava)

Experience : 10+ years, must have worked as managing java software engineering team

Domain: preferrable from Banking Domain.

Educational Qualification
B.E/MCA/M.Sc from a reputed institute
Sun Certification would be an added advantage

Mandatory Requirement
Minimum 10 years of experience in product development using cutting edge technologies and managing team size of minimum 10 members.
Develop complex software products using Core Java, Multithreading, JSP, Jquery, Java scripting (D3/Angular JS/Sigma), EJB, JSF.

Job Description
Leading the development team in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications
Managing all the activities of the software development team and set goals for each team member to ensure timely project delivery
Keep up to date with the latest development software
Hire and train new developers
Provide guidance to the team and ensure they adhere to development standards
Ensure proper documentation
Development as per Functional Specifications
Get Detailed Unit Testing and Documentation
Ensure daily checking to SVN/CVS
Exposure to Agile methodologies
Must have experience in :
Linux/Unix, Oracle/MySQL/ NoSQL
Appservers - Jboss/Web logic/Web sphere/Tomcat
Graph DB -NEO4J/titan/MongoDB/Janus,
Bigdata/Hadoop/ HDFS/Elastic Search (Must have)

Desired Skills
Core java with File I/O, Collections, Multithreading.
Very strong analytical skills, ability to comprehend complex logic and contribute to on-going feature and performance improvements
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team member as well as individual contributor.
Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
Contribute in product feature design & implementation efforts focusing on delivering quality code.
Good understanding of data structures, Design patterns, Object oriented programming algorithms.
