Job Description:
I am seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Virtual Assistant to help me apply for Java Developer and Software Engineer roles in the United States. The ideal candidate will be experienced in job hunting, resume customization, and using online job boards.
Responsibilities:
Apply to 50–100 relevant job openings per day based on criteria I provide
Customize cover letters and resumes using templates I’ll share
Track applications in a spreadsheet with job title, company name, application date, and status
Use platforms like LinkedIn, Indeed, Dice, Monster, and direct company websites
Filter jobs based on specific technologies (Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Microservices, etc.) and locations (Texas, California, North Carolina, etc.)
Notify me of interview calls, recruiter messages, or any responses
Submit applications with proper documentation (resume, cover letter, portfolio, etc.)
Requirements:
Strong written English and attention to detail
Prior experience with job application assistance or virtual assistance
Familiarity with U.S. job portals and tech job requirements
Ability to work independently and meet daily application targets
Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience helping candidates apply for software engineering roles
Basic understanding of Java or tech industry keywords to match job descriptions
