Head Software Engineer with AI & Healthcare Expertise
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Software Engineer to join our team in the pursuit of revolutionizing the pharmacy sector in Canada. You will play a key role in the design and development of our innovative online computer pharmacy platform.
Responsibilities:
Software Development and Maintenance (40%)
Design, develop, and maintain a robust, scalable, and secure platform using state-of-the-art technologies.
Ensure high-quality code is delivered that meets specifications and has minimal defects.
AI Modeling (30%)
Build, test, and implement AI models and algorithms to streamline and enhance pharmacy processes.
Continuously validate, enhance, and expand AI models to meet changing operational needs.
Systems Integration (20%)
Ensure seamless integration of the pharmacy platform with existing software systems.
Work closely with other software engineers and IT professionals to optimize integration and ensure smooth operations.
Leadership & Collaboration (10%)
Lead a team of software engineers in the delivery of project goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including pharmacy staff, to understand needs and translate them into functional software.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in AI modeling and Optical Character Recognition (OCR).
Prior experience developing healthcare software systems, preferably in the Canadian market.
Proficiency in systems integration and knowledge of various software connectivity protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex software issues.
Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or C++.
Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices.
Excellent leadership skills with a track record of leading successful development teams.
