Develop a service oriented application that co-ordinates the functionalities of the
developed services. Developed service oriented application should be implemented as an
executable BPEL process and be deployed using the BPEL process execution engine.
• Developed service oriented application should realize all the identified business
requirements. As an example, let one of the identified requirement is
o R1 – “the system should authenticate a user before taking electronic payment”.
The required functionalities of this requirement can be implemented by two web
services, i.e. one service to authenticate the user (e.g. authentication service) and one
web service to take the electronic payment (e.g. payment service). In order to realize
the requirement R1, your service based application should first invoke the
authentication service and on successful authentication the service oriented
application should invoke the payment service.
• Develop a simple client program (either in Java or .NET) that enables an end user to
interact with your developed BPEL process. The client may provide a graphical or a text
based interface to the end user.
