Migrate JSP to Thymeleaf with webjars
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for an individual developer to rewrite and migrate JSP views to Thymeleaf in a Spring Boot application. Thymeleaf and Thymeleaf Layout Dialect are already integrated.
Key Tasks:
- Convert all JSP to Thymeleaf, focusing mainly on files in:
- WEB-INF/tags/form/
- WEB-INF/tags/util/
- Move away from Dijit/Dojo to:
- Bootstrap 5
- Select2
- Flatpickr (with inline display for date/time)
- Maintain existing validations:
- Field length limits
- Required fields
- Pattern matching
Providing an archive with an Eclipse project, including the database, is required. The end result should be a visually acceptable version without JSPs.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
- Strong experience with Thymeleaf, Bootstrap, and frontend development
- Familiarity with Eclipse
- Individual developers only; no companies
