I am looking for a developer or team to build a basic version of a local discovery platform. The platform should allow users to browse and search for local businesses, events, and services. The project must focus on core functionalities, with potential for future enhancements.
Project Scope:
Frontend Development:
Develop a responsive UI using ReactJS.
Include a homepage, category listing, search functionality, and a simple user registration/login.
Backend Development:
Create RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Boot preferred).
APIs to support user authentication, business/event data retrieval, and category management.
Database:
Use MySQL for basic data storage.
Include tables for businesses, users, events, and categories.
Key Features:
Dynamic search and category-based filtering.
User registration/login (basic authentication).
Add/edit businesses and events (admin only).
Deliverables:
A functional prototype of the platform with source code.
Clear instructions for running the application locally.
Initial setup for deployment (e.g., Docker or cloud hosting guidance).
