I am seeking an experienced Keycloak developer to customize our Keycloak instance to support user registration and login using mobile numbers instead of traditional usernames. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Keycloak, Java, Maven, and authentication mechanisms.
Task Requirements:
Custom Authenticator Development: ( Must )
Develop a custom authenticator class that implements Keycloak's Authenticator interface to handle authentication using mobile numbers.
Create an AuthenticatorFactory to instantiate the custom authenticator.
Authentication Flow Configuration: ( You can do this to test your work )
Deploy the custom authenticator JAR to the Keycloak server ( Use the docker version on your local PC ).
Configure a custom authentication flow in the Keycloak admin console to use the mobile number authenticator.
Ensure the custom authenticator is compatible with Keycloak 24.0.4.
Registration Form Customization: ( Must )
Customize the Keycloak registration form to include a mobile number field.
Ensure the mobile number is validated and stored as a unique attribute for each user.
Ensure it is compatible with Keycloak 24.0.4.
Theme Customization: ( Must )
Create a custom Keycloak theme to modify the login and registration pages to support mobile number input.
Ensure the custom theme is compatible with Keycloak 24.0.4.
Testing and Validation: ( You can do this to test your work )
Thoroughly test the custom authentication flow to ensure it works seamlessly.
Validate that users can register and log in using their mobile numbers.
Skills Required:
Strong experience with Keycloak and its customization.
Proficiency in Java and Maven.
Experience with creating and deploying custom Keycloak authenticators.
Familiarity with Keycloak themes and FreeMarker templates.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
