Java script to populate values into Google Sheets

Looking to generate a script which will populate values from one master google sheet, to individual Student summary Tabs in a different google sheet.
The Master sheet is a daily log of students and training time. At the end of each training day that script would populate the students and perspective training times into the individual student summary Tabs.
After executing the script the current master Sheet would be archived as a PDF.
