Java/Spring Dev needed

A global distribution leader in the premium and luxury automotive sectors, Inchcape brings some of the world's best-loved brands to customers globally. The company is listed on the London Stock Exchange and employs around 15,000 people.

Main responsibilities:·
- Monitor the quality and performance of the APIs and application.·
- Help build/improve the devops pipeline.
- Help with the front end development when necessary.
- Propose and implement new tools, best practices and methodologies.
- Conduct code reviews.
- Write Unit and Integration tests.
- Help configure and manage the cloud environments (AWS).
- Use of Jira and Confluence to keep work status and technical documentation updated.
Position Requirements
- Strong software development experience (at least 5 years) in PHP and Symfony
- Font end development experience (React).
- Strong knowledge of architectural design patterns and best practices.
- Experience in MaterialUI, GraphQL, TDD and SOLID Principles
- Good knowledge of ES6+ and/or Typescript.
- Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and a CSS pre-compiler (e.g. SASS / LESS).
- Experience working with integrations, APIs, containers.
- Experience with Unit Testing, Mocking and Dependency Injection frameworks.
- Ability to write high performance, reusable and testable code.
- Ability to diagnose and solve application performance problems.
- Experience with version control tools like Git.·
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with cloud environments and capabilities (AWS/Azure)
- Desirable: high traffic website / e-commerce experience
