Java Software developer

We're looking for a Software Engineer to join a team of Java developers building a live streaming web application software. The ideal candidate will have experience with the Spring framework and optimizing database queries for speed. As a software engineer, you will be working with a team of developers and designers to plan, design and develop client projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and test APIs, using Java with Spring Boot framework
- Build data processing solutions for efficient API performance
- Integrate components into a finished product
- Follow agile software development practices
- Collaborate with other teams as needed to build enterprise solutions
- Participate in the design and architecture of sustainable software
- Assist in developing continuous integration pipelines
- Collaborate with internal team members to share responsibilities for the platform

Required Skills/Abilities:
- At least 5 years of experience in Java/J2EE technologies, HTML/CSS and front end frameworks (Vue, React, Nuxt)
- Experience in Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security), Webservices (REST), and Configuring web containers (Doctor, Kubernetes)
- Solid grasp of concepts & knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms and design patterns
- Unix commands & Basic Shell Scripting
- Agile methodology development
- MySQL
- Git
- CI/CD

Technologies:
- Backend: Java (Spring MVC)

Education:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science (Preferred)
