Position: Java Developer - Outsourced
Location: Mumbai, India (Work will be outsourced to an external company)

Responsibilities:
Core Java Development:
Design, implement, and maintain business grade web Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Frontend Development:
1. Develop and maintain dynamic and responsive web pages using JavaScript and jQuery.
2. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them accordingly.
Technical Documentation:
1. Prepare comprehensive and clear technical documents including functional specifications, data flow diagrams, and flow charts.
2. Create and update user manuals to ensure end-users have the necessary information for effective system utilization.
Collaboration:
1. Work closely with the Mumbai office team to understand project requirements, provide regular updates, and address any concerns or queries.
2. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Quality Assurance:
1. Conduct thorough testing of developed applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements and are free of bugs.
2. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and fix any defects or issues.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong portfolio of past projects.
2. Proficiency in Core Java development and hands-on experience with JavaScript and jQuery for frontend development and Spring Boot.
3. Demonstrated ability to create detailed technical documentation including functional specifications, data flow diagrams, and flow charts.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Education and Certifications:
Practical experience in developing large scale application system using Java.
Relevant certifications in Java development and web development will be a plus.
Selected candidate will be working remotely as part of an external development team. You may require to visit our Mumbai office for training and presentation and meetings. Regular communication and collaboration with the Mumbai office team are essential for the success of the project.
