Java Serenity Framework Testing BDD NEEDS TO BE DONE PROFESSIONALLY.
Create an automation framework from scratch using a specific set of requirements detailed below. You will then use this framework to create automated tests for the various scenarios provided.
• Java with the Serenity Framework MUST BE USED
• The project must include a readme and list any pre-requisites and instructions on how to execute the tests
• The UI tests must be written using Gherkin syntax - https://cucumber.io/docs/gherkin/reference/
• The UI tests should run on the current stable channel of Chrome
• The tests should be written so that they are reusable if additional scenarios were added
• The tests should be executable from the command line (so that they could be used in a CI pipeline)
• The test execution should be platform agnostic (Windows, macOS, Linux)
• The test outputs should include a report of the tests executed
• The result should be that all tests have passed, and the results are displayed in a Serenity report
• Important code style and cleanliness and design. Use of patterns such as the Page Object Model is expected, and using common function, and test cases as a list for ease of modification.
• professional usage of Git so make sure your commit messages are clear and atomic
• Make sure you document how to use the project (i.e. how to run the tests) in a Read.Me, along with any resources you used.
